SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Receptionist oversees the flow of traffic in and out of the premises, engaging with tenants, visitors, and staff.
This role involves documenting end-of-shift reports and incident reports, processing work orders, enforcing project policies in accordance with fair housing regulations, and maintaining an orderly reception area.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls, route inquiries, take messages, and make emergency calls as necessary.
Assist with administrative tasks such as completing work orders, comment cards, visitor violation forms, and other duties as assigned by management.
Prepare incident reports to document any unusual activities within the building.
Distribute resident mail on a daily basis.
Provide coverage as needed when other receptionists are unavailable.
Annual tuberculosis testing may be required, along with adherence to Exposure Control Protocol for bloodborne pathogens.
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly those with special needs, is advantageous.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws, as well as Fair Housing guidelines.
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate fluently in English.
Strong awareness, urgency, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Pay Range:
$19.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr.
