  10. Utilize Neurohospitalist for inpatient care
  11. Patient load per day
  12. Currently a 3-4 month backlog for new patient appointments
  13. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Athena
  14. On-site laboratory services
  15. Office located in a professional office building connected to a hospital
  16. Standard working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  17. Opportunity to take over from a retiring physician
  18. Experienced support staff available
  19. Strong collaborative relationships with Neurohospitalist
  20. Robust primary care network referring patients to the practice

Neurohospitalist Role

  1. Position is hospital employed

  12. Teleneurology services available, no need to respond to strokes in the emergency room
  13. Flexible work schedule among staff
  14. Low patient volume
  15. No response to strokes in the emergency room
  16. Hospital has all specialists on staff for consults
  17. Well-trained nursing staff ensuring appropriate calls
