Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Lucent Group. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

• Food Preparation: Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Tray Delivery: Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Meal Assembly: Assemble resident meal trays with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
• Equipment Maintenance: Follow proper cleaning techniques for all kitchen equipment and work areas.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, center staff, and the public.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.

• Competitive Pay: $15.00 per hour.
