As a Class A Truck Driver at US Foods, Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering essential food products to customers. Your timely and accurate deliveries will ensure our customers receive the highest quality products they need.
Salary and BenefitsThe position offers competitive pay of up to $28.20 per hour. About the JobThis is a unique opportunity to join the US Foods team as a key face of our organization. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. Your dedication to top-notch customer service will make a significant impact on our customers' experiences.
- Deliver best-in-class Customer Service
- Meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area
- Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
- Make frequent stops during a work shift
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required
- Pass DOT physical examination
