Job Summary

Career Concepts is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Unloading: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and condition. Unload and sort received items, preparing them for storage or further processing.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and data entry. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Order Picking and Packing: Retrieve products or materials from storage areas based on pick lists or customer orders. Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials and methods.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks following safety guidelines and proper training. Conduct routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates and team members to accomplish daily tasks and meet productivity goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to address inventory, order, or shipment-related issues.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (proper certification may be required).
  • Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation purposes.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a warehouse setting.
Benefits
