Dignity Health Medical Group - North State is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its busy ENT division.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, conducting thorough medical examinations and histories.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Training from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Possession of CA licensure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 1 or more years of post-training experience desirable.
This part-time opportunity is clinic-only, one day per week on Fridays, and will support our two very busy ENT physicians. Redding is a small city surrounded by a sea of rural and offering the best of both worlds. Located on the I-5 corridor midway between Sacramento and the Oregon border, Redding has the amenities of a city, but with opportunities for outdoor activities within minutes of the clinic's front door.
Redding is truly the "Choose-your-own-adventure" town with two reservoirs just minutes away, the mighty Sacramento River flowing through the center of town, 225 miles of trails within a 15-miles radius, an active musical theater scene, state and national parks, and hunting and fishing opportunities galore.
Want to spend the weekend in the city? Sacramento is just over two hours away through easy farmland and the bay area is only about three to four hours from Redding.
Want to refresh your spirit by dipping your toes in the ocean? A quick three hour drive takes you through bigfoot country to the northern CA coast.
Redding has everything you love about California, but with a far lower cost of living than in the bay area or southern California.
The city of Redding is about the same size as the city of San Francisco, but with about a tenth of the population.
Oh, and did I mention 300 days per year of sun and no shoveling snow? You're going to love Redding.
