Pediatric Physical Therapist

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in Hurst, Texas. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with infants and young children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and provide expert care to those who need it most.
About the RoleAs a Pediatric Physical Therapist in the NICU, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating babies with various disorders, including neurological, musculoskeletal, genetic, neuromuscular, respiratory, pain, and developmental issues. You will also provide consultation and programming, including patient and caregiver education, referrals to outside agencies, and documentation of treatment plans.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's degree preferred
- Pediatric and/or NICU experience preferred
- CPR-BLS certification within 30 days of employment required
- State license for Physical Therapy or licensure eligible
