Job Summary

Roses Discount Stores is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and counting freight in our warehouse locations, identifying item/sku information, and documenting freight that may be in the wrong location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and count freight in warehouse locations
  • Identify item/sku information and document any discrepancies
  • Document freight that may be in the wrong location
  • Identify UPCs that are not on file and report to management
  • Knowledge of cycle counting in casepack vs. breakpack
  • Challenged with cycle counting all pick locations every 30 days
  • Challenged with cycle counting the DC 4 times a year
Requirements
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to identify carton quantities and accurately count inventory
  • Walking is required and driving (stock picker) is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • RF Scanner experience is preferred
