Position Overview: As a vital member of our healthcare team at eTeam, you will be responsible for the proficient operation of all X-Ray Imaging and associated apparatus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients effectively while conducting X-Ray procedures.
- Coordinate X-Ray examinations to guarantee timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care.
- Accurately interpret and follow provider Imaging orders.
- Submit necessary images and relevant clinical data to the Radiologist for analysis.
- Evaluate image quality to ensure optimal diagnostic results.
- Maintain open, precise, and responsive communication with patients, colleagues, Radiologists, and leadership.
- Utilize, charge, and manage department supplies appropriately.
- Adhere to sterile techniques and infection prevention protocols.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Safely execute X-Ray procedures, including patient transfers.
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to Radiologist protocols.
- Implement Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to protect both patients and staff.
- Supervise and assess Student Radiographers in a clinical environment.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a strong commitment to patient care and safety, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
