Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Job Description

Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in pediatric patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compound and dispense prescribed medications according to physician instructions.
  • Consult with medical staff to discuss potential drug interactions, patient medical history, and medication use.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and dosage instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulatory and security procedures.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
  • South Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
