Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
