Reliability Engineer

IKO North America is a leading manufacturer of roofing and building materials, with a strong commitment to quality, integrity, and trustworthiness. We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead training programs to utilize Maximo-integrated 5-Why RCA's and Troubleshooting to drive down production losses
  • Participate in corporate weekly reliability teams meetings, training, webinars, and benchmarking to stay up-to-date with reliability knowledge and techniques
  • Develop and implement reliability assessments and surveys to identify areas for improvement
  • Utilize production loss and maintenance cost data to lead problem-solving teams and prioritize initiatives for maximum value return
  • Build strong relationships with maintenance and operations employees to develop efficient and effective running PM plans
  • Prepare and facilitate FMECA/RCM plans for shingle lines, using Pareto analysis to identify critical assets and optimize PM optimization and spare parts strategy
  • Troubleshoot equipment, design for reliability, and manage contractors for precision-installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Support and promote IKO's core values and leadership behaviors
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 3+ years of reliability experience in continuous process manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic, lubrication, and thermography
  • Experience facilitating RCFA's and developing FMECA's, PM recommendations, and production loss analysis
  • Verbal and written fluency in English, effective presentation skills, and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Proficiency with building standardized PM's and PdM's within Maximo or similar CMMS, MS Office, and AutoCAD
  • Willingness to travel for knowledge sharing and learning
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy, and strong work ethic
