Martial Arts Instructor

Impact Dojo is a dynamic and innovative martial arts organization dedicated to empowering children and adults through the art of martial arts. Founded in 2015 in the Chicagoland area, we have experienced rapid growth and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced martial arts instructor to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate martial arts instructor to provide daily instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and safe learning environment.

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4-18 with varying skill levels.
• Demonstrate martial arts techniques, explain principles, and provide feedback on student progress.
• Supervise groups, ensuring behavior management, health and safety, security, and personal development.
• Ensure student and team safety, teach safe training habits, and enforce martial arts rules.
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a creative and engaging manner.
• Utilize effective classroom management skills to lead activities and create an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and work effectively as a team.
• Exhibit Impact Dojo's core values and adhere to company policies.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, including tutoring, camp counseling, or youth volunteer work.
• Martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years minimum) required.
• Teaching certification (preferred but not required).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).

Ability to respond to emergency situations, good physical condition, and willingness to travel.
