Forensic DNA Expert

Ariel Partners is seeking a seasoned DNA Forensic Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide crucial product guidance, technical expertise, and direction for our CODIS software development program.

• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the primary forensic expert on the CODIS system, providing deep technical insight and direction on DNA analysis, database management, and forensic science best practices.
• Product Guidance: Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and developers to ensure the CODIS system meets the needs of forensic professionals, aligns with legal requirements, and incorporates technological innovations.
• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements for software improvements, ensuring alignment with forensic and legal protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in product testing and validation, reviewing software outputs to ensure the accurate processing of DNA profiles and compliance with CODIS standards.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of working in DNA forensics, with hands-on experience in analyzing DNA evidence and maintaining compliance with national standards and protocols.

This role requires a strong understanding of DNA analysis, forensic laboratory protocols, and the CODIS system, including compliance with FBI and NDIS standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex forensic and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
