Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team at D3 Search. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our Labor and Employment Group, which focuses on defending employers in single- and multi-plaintiff lawsuits involving various employment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys and team members in overseeing case management from inception through completion, including drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents.
  • Maintain case files, update charts and indices, and support witness summaries and document productions.
  • Assist with deposition and hearing preparation, including identifying and gathering exhibit documents and creating witness outlines.
  • Cite-check briefs, including both legal and factual citations.
  • Coordinate with the Litigation Support Group for back-end database management using iPro or other recognized review platforms.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working as a California paralegal with a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong Office365 skills, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, iManage, and CompuLaw.
  • Strong legal research database skills and experience with Westlaw and/or Lexis.
  • Understanding and knowledge of legal procedures, rules of court, and local rules.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well under stress.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with little or no direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of California civil litigation experience in litigation (law and motion), including document management, drafting, and revising pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Trial experience is helpful.
