Job Description
As a Registered Nurse Resident at TriStar Summit Medical Center, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Key responsibilities include assessing patient condition during admission and throughout their stay, performing procedures as ordered by medical providers, documenting care in the patient record, administering prescribed medications, and educating patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification within one year. An associate or bachelor's degree in nursing and a registered nurse license or graduate nurse in the state are also required. No previous experience is necessary, but some travel may be needed for training.
