About the Role
As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with patients and their families to provide personalized support throughout the cancer journey. This involves coordinating care between diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship or end-of-life phases.

Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate timely access to appropriate care by scheduling appointments and gathering records
- Organize and support Tumor Boards and Multidisciplinary Clinics for effective oncology appointments
- Foster communication between the care team and patients, address barriers to care, and document interactions in electronic records
- Connect patients to relevant community resources to enhance health and well-being, patient satisfaction, and reduce healthcare costs

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or community resource settings, with a background in healthcare or outpatient oncology desirable
- Completion of the George Washington University Cancer Center Oncology Patient Navigator Training is required, demonstrating competency in each of the 8 domains
