Job Title: Speech Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Sigma Healthcare. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients by performing screenings, assessing patient condition, and designing therapy and treatment plans to help patients develop necessary speech skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
  • Keep accurate records of patient progress and care plans.
  • Report progress to relevant parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Requirements:
  • Effective clinical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse populations.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a SNF setting is required.
  • Rehab Optima Experience is preferred.
  • Possesses a Master Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Certification in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
