Automotive Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Professional to join our team at Lewis Ford Springdale. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and deliver a minimum number of vehicles per month to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with Lewis's policies.
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Attend product and sales training courses as requested by the sales manager to stay up-to-date on new products and services.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a prospect development system to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
  • Satisfy the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers and provide a seamless sales experience.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase and offer test drives when applicable.
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Prior automotive sales experience is not necessary; we are willing to train and develop the right person.
  • Individuals with a background in hospitality and/or restaurant industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Self-driven and motivated to achieve results, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience generating and/or building a loyal client base is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of current trends and news, plus a strong desire to learn more and do more.

Preferred Requirements and Skills:

  • Bilingual: able to communicate in Spanish.
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated annual salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
