Pediatric Otolaryngologist Opportunity at VCU Health - MCV Physicians

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians. As a member of our academic department, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional clinical care, teach and mentor residents and students, and engage in research and academic pursuits.

About the Position

This is a full-time position that will provide clinical expertise and care toward surgical treatment of all Otolaryngology anomalies. The successful candidate will support the training and teaching of Otolaryngology residents as well as other students and observers. The department fosters a level of research and professional activity essential to the GME program (Otolaryngology residency) and to the professional growth of the faculty.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and care toward surgical treatment of all Otolaryngology anomalies
  • Support the training and teaching of Otolaryngology residents as well as other students and observers
  • Engage in research and academic pursuits, including publication in refereed journals and potential external funding
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical endeavors
Requirements
  • Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology
  • Fellowship trained
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia upon hire
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University
