Job Description

Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its global tax strategy and treasury operations. As the Director of Corporate Tax and Treasury, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, optimizing the company's tax position, managing liquidity, funding, financial risks, and supporting the company's insurance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing tax and treasury function, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability across a small team and outsourcing partners.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align tax and treasury strategies with the company's overall business goals. Provide strategic insights and recommendations on key financial decisions.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, and Business Units, to ensure alignment and support for tax and treasury initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation of process improvements, technology enhancements, and organizational changes within the tax and treasury functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory authorities, on all tax and treasury-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. MBA, MBT, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate tax and treasury roles, with a strong background in federal, state, local, and international tax and complex global treasury operations.
