Mechanical Equipment, a world leader in engineered products for water purification, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Mandeville, LA. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective manufacture of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
- Review and optimize drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and efficiency.
- Create and maintain manufacturing standards, labor estimates, and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- 1-4 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a non-repetitive environment.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system and familiarity with ASME code Section VIII and piping per ASME B31.1.
- CAD experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
