Position Overview:

As a skilled HVAC/R technician, your role will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute assigned HVAC/R maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in a safe manner within commercial and industrial environments.

· Conduct preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on commercial HVAC systems.

· Identify breakdown causes, utilize appropriate testing instruments, disassemble and reassemble components, and perform required repairs on equipment and related parts.

· Troubleshoot and service various refrigeration systems, including coolers, walk-in boxes, display cases, and ice machines.

· Diagnose and repair different types of HVAC systems, including split systems, packaged rooftop units, heat pumps, and pneumatic control systems.

· Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by assessing building layouts, gathering materials, and coordinating with customers and dispatchers.

· Complete daily electronic documentation using a handheld device.

· Work autonomously and collaboratively to accomplish assigned tasks within specified timeframes.

· Operate a company vehicle to respond to service calls within a designated area.

· Undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining commercial and/or industrial HVAC/R systems.

· Proven experience in servicing and diagnosing various refrigeration equipment.

· EPA universal certification is required.

· NATE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

· High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

· OSHA 10-hour certification is preferred.

· Strong mechanical aptitude, along with mathematical and English language proficiency.

· Adhere to and promote the company's Safety Policy.

· Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

· Ability to work independently and without supervision.

· Capability to stand, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.

· Proficiency in electrical and mechanical diagnostics.

· Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and equipment layout materials.

· Ability to pass comprehensive background and drug screenings.

· Willingness to travel as required for projects.
