About the Role:

We're seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team at Concentra Career Choice as a Medical Support Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various locations to provide medical support services
  • Work one-on-one with patients as a healthcare provider, monitoring their flow and delivering routine medical care
  • Handle blood draws, injections, EKGs, vitals, drug screens, and other medical procedures
  • Assist with patient onboarding, including obtaining medical histories and verifying patient information
  • Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing required testing
  • Provide assistance during examinations and treatment, as well as perform ancillary testing and tasks as directed by the Center Medical Director
  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • Assist with front office duties, including greeting patients, obtaining authorization, and communicating wait times

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, training as a medical assistant, or military medical specialist with current credentials in the state of employment
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required
