Job Title: Trash Sorter

At LaborMax Staffing, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trash Sorter. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials that are intermixed with trash, ensuring that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort trash from recyclable materials while standing for extended periods
  • Operate a conveyor belt system to process incoming materials
  • Wear required PPE, including cut-level gloves and sleeves, to ensure a safe working environment
  • Meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse setting
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day and have a strong stomach
  • Background and drug screen may be conducted
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
