Job Title: Surveillance Agent

At Rivers Casino, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surveillance Agent to join our team. As a Surveillance Agent, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our gaming areas and property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor all areas of the property, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity.
  • Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document, and report illegal, suspicious, or unusual activities occurring on property.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the New York State Gaming Commission and ensure strict adherence.
  • Participate in confidential internal and external investigations.
  • Conduct research on subpoena requests from state and federal authorities.
  • Complete daily reports and incident reports to document your activity.
  • Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Support other employees, supervisors, and management regarding protection of assets in their respective departments.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Gaming industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify color (casino tokens are color-coded).
  • Basic math skills - pre-employment assessment required (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), some college preferred.
  • Ability to analyze documents and reports.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Working Conditions:
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to control surveillance tools.
  • Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.
  • Exposure to climate environments.
