We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate at Raytheon. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems for our test products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems for test products, including interface assemblies, test instruments, and environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, technical drawings, and circuit designs.
- Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management.
- Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and support to junior engineers and contributing to the development of technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
- Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools, including Altium, DX Designer, and Mentor Capital.
- Experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Experience with technical leadership, including mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques.
- Experience with programming languages, including C++, Python, and MATLAB.
