Job Summary:
The Parish Receptionist/Office Assistant is a vital role in the Diocese of Crookston, responsible for providing administrative support to the parish office. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to parishioners, visitors, and staff.
- Manage the parish office, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and coordinating events.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of the weekly bulletin.
- Develop and maintain proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Support priests and other staff as needed, and contribute to the overall mission of the Diocese of Crookston.
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, public relations, and/or communications.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service orientation and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Pass background checks.
