We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Jackson Memorial Hospital. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia under medical direction for diversified surgical cases, utilizing inhalation, intravenous, spinal, or rectal agents.
- Monitor patients' physiologic condition during surgery and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation, formulating a patient-specific plan for anesthesia care in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists.
- Provide observation, monitoring, and resuscitation of patients in the recovery room or special care unit according to protocol.
- Transfer responsibility for patient care to other qualified providers post-operatively to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Master's degree in Nursing is required.
- Valid Florida licensed RN/CRNA or eligibility for licensure as CRNA/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
- National Board Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and any additional applicable life support certification for Healthcare Providers is required upon hire with at least 6 months validity and maintenance at JHS for the duration of employment.
