Ballad Health Corporate seeks a skilled Patient Flow Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of patients through our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee patient bed management, documentation, and staff assignments to optimize hospital operations.
- Ensure bed placement workflows are followed and staff are called to cover absences to maintain a smooth patient flow.
- Provide support to patient flow staff and assist with challenging situations to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Assist with educating and reeducating team members on new workflows, procedures, and practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Address issues professionally and escalate to Manager, Patient Flow or Manager on call as needed to maintain a high level of patient care.
- Bachelor's Degree – RN or LPN with 5 years experience in a clinical environment to provide expertise in patient care.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and other team members.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Leadership and commitment to quality management to drive operational excellence.
- Shift: Night
- Weekends: Rotating
- Travel Required: No
