Substitute Teacher Opportunity

Copilot Careers is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team in Gallup McKinley County Schools. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of our educational program when regular teachers are absent.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality instruction to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent.
  • Review and implement the regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Report any student injuries, illnesses, or serious discipline problems to school administration.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by school administration.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Substitute Teacher Certification.
  • State/FBI Criminal History Clearance.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
