Job Title: Medical Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient correctly.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop and process X-ray films and other imaging materials.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current state licensure as a radiologic technologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
