We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at West Jefferson Medical Center, a cornerstone of LCMC Health's incredible community of care. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including arterial puncture, cannulation, and ventilator management.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Adhere to LCMC Health's policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current American Heart Association (BLS, CPR) certifications.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
