As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including arterial puncture, cannulation, and ventilator management.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Adhere to LCMC Health's policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current American Heart Association (BLS, CPR) certifications.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
