Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our patient care team. This critical role plays a vital part in ensuring a great patient experience by transporting patients, records, and equipment efficiently and safely throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients, records, and equipment to designated areas, utilizing effective communication skills to ensure smooth operations
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, initiating life-saving techniques such as CPR and crisis management as needed
  • Maintain lifesaving certifications to ensure the highest level of patient care
  • Operate patient stretcher lifts safely and efficiently, adhering to established policies and procedures
  • Ensure personal property is secure from theft or loss, maintaining confidentiality of records and information

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, with some areas preferring BLS certification upon hiring. You must also be able to lift 75 pounds and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
