About the Role

As a Store Manager at Total Wine & More, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. This includes building strong relationships with customers, team members, and vendors to achieve sales, service, and operational performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer loyalty
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales and service goals
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays
  • Collaborate with district managers and other store leaders to share best practices and drive business results
  • Participate in product knowledge training and implement through team coaching
  • Oversee general operations and merchandising execution according to company procedures
  • Staff and schedule to meet business needs, including interviewing, hiring, and training team members
  • Maintain store inventory, product ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Lead the performance management process, including reviews and ongoing career development discussions

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • 5+ years retail sales, customer service, or hospitality management experience, preferably in a big box environment
  • Experience leading and motivating a sales-focused team
  • Experience developing team member performance and coaching
  • Experience managing overall financial performance
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires
  • Associates Degree or relevant work experience equivalent; 4-year degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Value collaboration and acting as a team player

Physical Requirements

  • Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
  • Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
