About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our medical imaging team at Texas Health Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures with precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality mammography services to patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Quality Assurance/Control: Maintain and improve the quality of mammography services, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Non-Direct Patient Care: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to departmental projects, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Leadership/Responsibility: Demonstrate leadership skills, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of clinical experience in mammography, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Licenses and Certifications: ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography, ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography, CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Skills: Ability to produce high-quality mammography images, excellent verbal and writing skills, and ability to organize and analyze information.
