Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to clients across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the speech-language pathologist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify clients' communication needs.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP to help clients achieve their communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients individually or in groups, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and session notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address clients' unique needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and techniques in speech-language therapy, participating in ongoing professional development and training.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Valid state license or certification as an SLPA.
  • Previous experience working in a clinical or educational setting, preferably in speech-language pathology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills and achieve their full potential.
