Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Prep Specialist to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products according to our recipes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follows recipe and storyboards to prepare foods according to proper preparation methods
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, walls, oven, and refrigeration equipment
  • Ensures proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Prepares menu items using plating recipes when ordered
  • Reports equipment and food quality problems to management

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
