We are actively seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Patient Transporter. This position is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients within healthcare facilities.
Position Details- Role: Patient Transporter
- Responsibilities: Safely and accurately transport patients, medical equipment, and related items to designated areas.
- Ensure the safe transport of patients, securing necessary medical devices such as IVs and drainage tubes.
- Utilize wheelchairs and other approved equipment for patient transport.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling patients of various age groups.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate patient movements.
- Provide comfort to patients during transport, addressing their needs and ensuring their dignity.
- Report any signs of patient distress or equipment issues to nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain and report on the condition of transport equipment.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and confidentiality policies.
Prior experience in patient care is preferred, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidates.
