Summer Audit Internship Opportunity

The F.N.B. Corporation is offering an exciting opportunity for a Summer Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit Department. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of internal auditing, including audit engagement planning, documentation request and tracking, evaluation of evidence, and exposure to Audit's TeamMate workpaper software and other systems.
Responsibilities- Participate in planning activities, including sending out engagement letters to clients and developing questionnaires and request lists to assist in the audit startup process.
- Meet and help interview audit clients for each assigned project.
- Participate in audit testing of the documentation received from clients and form an opinion on whether the evidence adequately supports the process in question.
- Assist in performing transactional and functional testing of books and records.
- Participate in developing and running reports using data analytics.
- Assist in finalizing electronic work papers, including indexing, cross-referencing, confirmation summaries, and documentation of audit findings.
- Participate in formal and on-the-job training to enhance audit skills and techniques.
- Perform special assignments as directed by Audit Management.
- Form audit conclusions and help shape the final audit report product.

To be eligible for this internship, you must be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
