Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Columbus Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant building and grounds, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our employees.

You will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with other teams to resolve problems. Your strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve plant building and grounds, including HVAC systems, utility distribution systems, and facilities equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing facilities and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with other teams to resolve problems.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Develop and implement projects from concept to completion.
  • Record and document work activities and report needed future work using CMMS.
  • Work from a weekly list of scheduled PMs and respond to immediate need Facilities Maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 or more years experience in Industrial Maintenance or Facility Maintenance.
  • HVAC Universal License preferred.
Salary Information

The base pay for this position is $24.20 per hour. Pay may vary based on specific location.
