Job Description

As an Endpoint Security Specialist at Infoways, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital assets from emerging threats. Your primary responsibilities will include providing administration and operational support for endpoint security technologies, documenting product-related details in runbooks, design, and/or configuration documents, and carrying out regression testing and analysis with any endpoint security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and operate endpoint security technologies to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of endpoint security technologies, including runbooks, design, and configuration documents.
  • Conduct regression testing and analysis to ensure the effectiveness of endpoint security technologies.
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center and other security groups to investigate security incidents and provide technical direction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest endpoint security best practices, threats, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies and DLP technologies.
  • Strong understanding of operating system internals, OS exploits, and preventive and detective controls.
  • Experience in investigating security incidents, analyzing logs, and uncovering details of compromises.
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Splunk search language and experience in creating trending, metrics, and management reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working with remote peers.
  • Ability to provide technical direction and train junior staff members.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong ability to learn and adapt.
