About the Role

Macerich is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in monitoring and securing our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring and securing computer networks and systems
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and mitigate potential security threats
  • Work with various departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of our operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and emerging threats
  • Monitor and respond to cyber security incidents
  • Identify vulnerabilities and risks within our systems and develop mitigation plans
Requirements
  • 3-15 years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Strong background in security operations center (SOC) processes and cyber security related technology
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
