About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pedorthist to join our team at Hanger, Inc. As a Pedorthist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients, leveraging your expertise in pedorthic care to assess, treat, and manage patients with various foot and ankle conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to determine their pedorthic needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Design, fabricate, and fit custom orthotics and prosthetics to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper use and care of orthotics and prosthetics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pedorthic care and technology to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
Requirements
  • Current board certification in Pedorthics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required as well.
  • May be willing to consider candidates who are not certified or board-eligible but have at least 5 years of demonstrated past experience in providing prosthetic and/or orthotic services under the supervision of a certified clinician.
