PeaceHealth is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Night position. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in the NICU and other areas of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, and ventilator management.
- Assess and plan individual patient care, taking into account the patient's age and medical condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in in-house educational in-services and attend outside seminars and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accredited Respiratory Care Program or approved alternative education.
- Must pass the NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist exam within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Preferred: experience in ICU, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics.
- Required: Respiratory Care Practitioner - Washington.
- Required within 6 months: Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- PALS certification.
