Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit new customers and up-sell/cross-sell products to ensure a profitable product mix.
  • Actively participate in promotions and contests, training, and audits to drive sales growth.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer installation, management, and service.
  • Ensure customer loyalty and retention through outstanding customer service and relationship-building.
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle, following all applicable laws and company policy.
  • Handle and process customer payments, maintain accurate route paperwork, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and report competitive activity, maintain service agreements, and return soiled textiles to the receiving area.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and CDL when applicable.
  • Excellent driving record, with a minimum of one year of safe and successful driving experience.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of products, and perform basic math calculations.
  • High school graduation or similar experience.

Working Conditions:

The Route Sales Representative will work in a fast-paced environment, operating vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations, and loading areas of a typical industrial laundry facility. The individual will also work in indoor and outdoor areas of a typical industrial facility, with physical demands including sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, climbing stairs, moving carts, lifting, standing, walking, writing, speaking, and hearing.
