Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, utilizing a range of equipment and techniques. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and safety of these procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Receive and prepare radioactive materials, maintaining accurate radiation records
  • Operate nuclear medicine cameras and equipment, adhering to established radiation safety protocols
  • Schedule and charge exams, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Participate in emergency call rotations, providing critical support to the team

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited nuclear medicine program or an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT, and/or NMTCB
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital environment (preferred)
