Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As an ICU Resource Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility that offers medical and surgical programs, including behavioral health and 24-hour emergency services. We are proud to be an affiliate of TriStar Health and home to several specialty centers, including the TriStar Centennial Heart & Vascular Center and The Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial.
**Job Summary**
The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. You will utilize therapeutic communication, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, and identify nursing problems as they relate to individual patient needs. You will also participate in performance improvement activities and provide care that fosters the goals of our hospital's mission and vision statement.
**Responsibilities**
You will demonstrate age-specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients. You will ensure patient privacy and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI). You will document all patient care and promote customer service initiatives. Additionally, you will float throughout all adult ICUs in the facility.
**Requirements**
We require a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, current TN RN licensure, and American Heart Association BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications may be required within six months. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
