Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join their team in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and be able to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to enhance students' speech, language, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs with clear, measurable objectives to improve students' speech and language skills.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic assessments to accurately diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, and social communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active CA SLP license.
  • Preference for school classroom experience, but new graduates are also welcome.
