Role Summary

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Digital Design Engineer to join our world-class Digital Design Engineering group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative digital circuits and standard cell libraries for our cutting-edge processor designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal CAD teams to plan production flows and work with foundries on PDK requirements.
  • Implement sophisticated digital blocks in Verilog/SystemVerilog, run simulations or formal checks for verification.
  • Use data analysis techniques and/or Machine Learning models to study circuit trends in timing, power, and area, and detect quality issues in large datasets.
  • Develop and integrate new insights and ideas with a team of talented engineers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in the VLSI industry.
  • Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog, UDPs, Verilog simulation, and formal verification.
  • Experience with EDA tools for synthesis, place-route, and Liberty format.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with executive management and external partners.
